Case Study
The customer got a way more expensive quote with batteries to be installed by a leading solar company. After speaking with the homeowner we realised that the pool is heated and will be running all day. The proposed batterie system would never actually get charged as all the power from the day would be used for the heating the pool.
Our recommendation was to add more panels to the system and get rid of the batteries for now but future-proofing the system may require batteries to be installed at a later stage.
Our discovery session with the homeowner allowed our team to communicate the requirements to the builder as provisions for the inverter and future batteries had to be included. We also recommended installing them underneath the house, keeping the exterior clean and clutter-free.
